Here’s a suggested Amarnath tour package itinerary:

Duration: 4 nights, 5 days

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

  • Arrive at Srinagar International Airport and meet your tour representative.
  • Transfer to your hotel in Srinagar and check-in.
  • Spend the day at leisure, exploring the local markets or taking a shikara ride on Dal Lake.
  • Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar – Baltal – Amarnath Cave

  • After an early breakfast, drive to Baltal, the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra.
  • From Baltal, take a helicopter ride to reach the holy Amarnath Cave (subject to weather conditions).
  • Explore the sacred cave, which houses the ice lingam of Lord Shiva.
  • After the darshan, return to Baltal and drive back to Srinagar.
  • Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 3: Srinagar – Gulmarg

  • After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg, known as the “Meadow of Flowers.”
  • Enjoy the scenic drive as you ascend to higher altitudes.
  • Once in Gulmarg, you can take a gondola ride (cable car) to Khilanmarg and enjoy panoramic views of the snow-covered mountains.
  • Explore the picturesque town and indulge in activities like horse riding or golfing.
  • Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 4: Gulmarg – Pahalgam

  • After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, also known as the “Valley of Shepherds.”
  • En route, visit the saffron fields in Pampore and the ruins of Avantipur temple.
  • Arrive in Pahalgam and spend the day exploring the scenic beauty of the region.
  • Visit Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, and Aru Valley, known for their picturesque landscapes and serene ambiance.
  • Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 5: Departure

  • After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to the Srinagar International Airport for your departure.
